We fight to rebuild
310 Squadron was formed on 10 July 1940 at RAF Duxford and became operational just over a month later on 18 August. The Squadron was comprised of Czech airmen and was led by a British Squadron Leader, GDM Blackwood. 310 flew throughout September as part of Duxford’s “Big Wing.” The Squadron served for the duration of the war and was part of 2nd Tactical Air Force during the D-Day landings in 1944. The Squadron was disbanded on 15 February 1946.
